Store Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and consumables; verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store materials by type under safety standards and FIFO/LIFO practices; issue materials to departments against approved requests.
• Maintain stock records in ODOO and manual logs when required; conduct regular stock counts and assist with annual inventory.
• Monitor stock and reorder levels; report shortages or excess inventory and coordinate material availability and discrepancies with relevant departments.
• Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and safe storage; handle returned, rejected, and scrap materials according to company procedures.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and UAE labor and industrial standards; prepare inventory reports for management.

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Diploma in Logistics or Store Management is an advantage.
• Two to five years of Storekeeper experience in plastic manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of plastic products and packaging materials, including PET jars and bottles and HDPE caps and closures.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar; understanding of FIFO/LIFO inventory methods.
• Good organizational, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to lift and move materials and willingness to work in warehouse and factory environments.
