Key responsibilities
- Monitor PET preform quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Identify and reduce defects, rejection rates, and material wastage.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Investigate quality problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor production parameters, machine settings, and process consistency.
- Analyze rejection rates, scrap, and quality costs to improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance to address recurring quality issues.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare daily quality and rejection reports.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in plastic manufacturing; PET preform production experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plastic materials, injection molding, and preform defects.
- Proven ability to reduce rejection rates, material wastage, and production costs.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with Odoo or another ERP system is an advantage.
