Role overview

Inventory and records

• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, conduct daily checks and periodic physical counts, and report discrepancies.
• Enter receipts, issues, transfers, and deliveries; maintain goods received notes, delivery notes, invoices, and stock transfer records.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports, track quantities, batches, and expiry dates, and assist with monthly reconciliation.
• Report low stock, slow-moving items, damaged products, and near-expiry stock.

Dispatch and frozen storage

• Supervise and assist loading and unloading; verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents and ensure correct dispatches.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers, warehouse staff, and sales teams.
• Store products in designated freezer areas, monitor temperature deviations, and follow FIFO and FEFO procedures.
• Arrange and label stock; report damaged packaging, thawed products, and suspected quality issues.

Warehouse operations

• Keep warehouse and freezer areas clean, organized, and safe; coordinate with purchasing and sales regarding stock availability.
• Follow company procedures for food safety, hygiene, and warehouse security.

Qualifications and requirements

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Storekeeper; frozen food experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control; basic computer skills and experience with Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Ability to prepare stock reports, perform accurate data entry, and understand batch numbers, expiry dates, FIFO, and FEFO.
• Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading; able to work in a cold-storage environment.
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Pay

• AED 2,500–3,200 per month.
