Position overview

Inventory, records, and reporting

• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, reconcile physical stock with system records, and conduct daily checks and periodic counts.
• Report shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, discrepancies, low stock, slow-moving items, and near-expiry stock.
• Enter receipts, issues, transfers, and deliveries; maintain goods received notes, delivery notes, invoices, and stock transfer records.
• Prepare daily and monthly stock reports, maintain quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates, and assist with monthly stock reconciliation.

Handling, storage, and warehouse operations

• Supervise and assist with loading and unloading; verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure correct products and quantities are dispatched and coordinate timely deliveries with drivers, warehouse staff, and sales teams.
• Store frozen products in designated freezer areas, monitor temperature deviations, and follow FIFO and FEFO rotation.
• Keep products properly arranged, labelled, and stored under frozen conditions; report damaged packaging, thawed products, or suspected quality issues.
• Keep warehouse and freezer areas clean, organized, and safe; coordinate with purchasing and sales on stock availability.
• Follow company food safety, hygiene, and warehouse security procedures.

Qualifications and requirements

• Previous Storekeeper or Warehouse Storekeeper experience; frozen food trading experience is preferred.
• Experience with frozen chicken, seafood, or other frozen food products is preferred.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Ability to prepare stock reports and perform accurate data entry.
• Knowledge of batch numbers, expiry dates, FIFO, and FEFO procedures.
• Physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills; ability to work in a cold-storage environment.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,500–3,200 per month.
