The IT Assistant provides day-to-day technical support to employees and helps maintain company IT systems, hardware, software, and networks.
The role is in the IT/Administration department and reports to the IT Manager or management.
Responsibilities
- Support employees’ computers, laptops, printers, and other devices; install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Set up computers, email and user accounts, and IT equipment for new employees.
- Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, internet, and connectivity issues; maintain equipment and software records.
- Assist with CCTV, access control, biometric attendance, backups, and data recovery.
- Coordinate with external IT providers; maintain IT inventory and allocate equipment.
- Support Microsoft Office, Windows, email, and other business applications.
- Maintain basic IT security and company data confidentiality; perform other assigned IT duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, networking, printers, and computer troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CCTV, biometric systems, and basic network configuration is an advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
Work location
- The position is described as hybrid remote in Dubai.
