Stock Controller

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Read approved project drawings and measurements to determine material needs; prepare cutting plans and material calculations.
• Manage carpet, artificial grass, decking, and accessory inventory; allocate rolls to sales orders and projects, using the same purchase order or lot where possible.
• Maintain roll balances, partial-roll records, lot and batch information, and material traceability.
• Record inventory transactions, allocations, lot numbers, and stock movements in the ERP system.
• Track incoming purchase orders and coordinate material availability with Procurement.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, specifications, and supplier documentation.
• Confirm stock availability for Sales quotations, including quantities from the same purchase order or lot where applicable.
• Coordinate material readiness with Warehouse and Installation teams.
• Participate in stock counts, investigate discrepancies, maintain inventory accuracy, and prepare inventory and material-usage reports.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory management or stock control.
• Ability to interpret project drawings, dimensions, and measurements and prepare material calculations and cutting plans.
• Experience using ERP systems; NetSuite experience is an advantage. Exposure to WMS is listed as a requirement.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and lot/batch-controlled stock; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization, good communication and coordination, and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience in flooring, carpets, artificial grass, decking, construction materials, or interior fit-out is preferred.
• Experience managing carpet or artificial grass roll inventory is preferred.
• Understanding of material allocation, roll optimization, and waste minimization is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory best practices, and experience coordinating with Sales, Procurement, and Project teams, are preferred.

Employment and pay

• Full-time position.
• Pay is AED 4,000–4,500 per month.
