A Steward is sought for a premium coffee shop team.
The role focuses on cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cups, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen, washing, and storage areas.
- Clean and properly store coffee shop equipment and utensils.
- Assist kitchen and barista teams with cleaning and basic support duties.
- Dispose of waste properly and follow waste management procedures.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and Dubai Municipality standards.
- Store cleaning materials safely and use them correctly.
- Support the team during busy service periods and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Basic cleaning procedures and food hygiene knowledge are required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; teamwork, time management, and communication skills are expected.
- Must be physically able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- A positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn are expected.
- Previous Steward or Dishwasher experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, or hotel is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,200 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
