Role Overview

The Product Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer to own and lead engineering projects across multiple product lines.

The role works with AI, Legal, and go-to-market teams to build secure application-layer and generative AI products.

The position is based in New York City and uses an in-person work model.

Relocation assistance is offered to new employees.

What You Will Do

  • Scale document ingestion and processing that is growing at 10 times every six months.
  • Design large-scale data collection from more than 50 legal jurisdictions.
  • Build government-level security for leading governments and professional firms.
  • Lead AI product experiences across web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and APIs.
  • Build agentic orchestration layers, tool calls, retrieval systems, and other AI-native features.
  • Ship full-stack features with React, TypeScript, Python, and Postgres.
  • Architect intuitive user experiences and robust APIs for streaming results and long-running processes.

What You Have

  • 7+ years of post-bachelor's or master's experience in product-focused full-stack software engineering.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, CSS, Python, or related technologies.
  • A track record of building fast-growing SaaS products.
  • A track record of shipping intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience building scalable, extensible solutions across the stack for multiple product lines.
  • Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
  • Early-stage startup experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • The description lists compensation of $231,000 to $340,000 USD.
  • Structured source data lists a $238,000 to $290,000 range with equity and bonus eligibility.
