About Harvey

Harvey develops an enterprise AI platform for legal and professional services.

The company combines agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and domain expertise to support critical knowledge work.

Role Overview

The Customer Education team is building technical infrastructure for Harvey Academy and the help center.

The Automation Engineer owns AI agents, automation pipelines, learning technology integrations, and related content systems.

The role partners with customer education, content, product, user operations, and go-to-market teams to create scalable technical solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain AI agents with Anthropic Claude and OpenAI LLM APIs for content creation, review, and publishing workflows.
  • Own and optimize Skilljar and Sanity CMS integrations for reliable and extensible content publishing.
  • Identify content-operations bottlenecks and build automation to improve speed and scalability.
  • Partner with Product, User Operations, and GTM to identify system improvements and AI-driven innovation.
  • Explore interactive learning components based on instructional design direction from team members.

What You Have

  • At least 5 years of automation engineering experience with API integration design and development.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or a similar modern web technology.
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM-powered workflows, including prompt engineering and API integrations.
  • Experience supporting production systems end to end, ideally with LMS, CMS, or similar content delivery infrastructure.
  • Ability to work autonomously, translate business needs into well-architected solutions, and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly.
  • Comfort working in documentation-heavy or content-operations environments.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with content governance or audit systems, automated review triggers, and freshness logic.
  • Experience operating AI video generation pipelines with ElevenLabs or an equivalent tool.
  • Experience coding interactive elements within LMS platforms.

Compensation

  • The listed compensation range is $123,600 to $185,400.
  • The source also indicates equity and bonus offerings, without specifying their amounts or terms.
