The role proactively solicits and manages business, upsells opportunities, achieves revenue goals, and supports customer loyalty and service delivery.

Education and experience
- Either a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or a related area.
- Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major; no work experience is required.
Sales and revenue responsibilities
- Target group and catering accounts, qualify and solicit new business, and achieve individual and property revenue goals.
- Develop sales plans, coordinate with sales counterparts, design and sell catered events, and upsell packages and food and beverage.
- Assess competitors, market conditions, and property needs; negotiate contracts and close business.
- Manage complex business opportunities, customer relationships, bookings, proposals, contracts, and correspondence.
Customer service and relationships
- Build customer and community relationships to support repeat bookings and account growth.
- Deliver service excellence, understand customer needs, recommend suitable services, and support satisfaction and loyalty before and during events.
- Follow brand and property customer-service standards and collaborate with internal and external sales channels.
- Conduct site inspections and use available sales and administrative resources.
