Key Responsibilities
- Focus on developing & deepening relations with key industry players predominantly in GRE sector for opportunistic & aggressive expansion of the funded & non funded business, with a key focus on Corporate/Structured Finance & Project Finance (PPP) transactions.
- Leading the delivery of revenue & asset targets and ensuring acceptable returns on capital, in line with the Bank’s strategic objectives. Ensuring enhancement of wallet share and ancillary business from existing and new relationships.
- Performing detailed due diligence for risk underwritings in order to ensure adequate risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Ensuring regular and meaningful engagement with key external stakeholders, including customers, financial advisors, legal advisors etc.
- Planning & execution of various cross-sell initiatives for achieving satisfactory returns on capital deployed, through engagement & collaboration with various product partners.
- Adhere to best practices in risk analysis, credit presentation, transaction structuring, LMA based documentation & portfolio management.
- Well versed with complex financing structures, PF transactions, Sharia structuring, capital allocation and market developments to support in quality growth of the portfolio.
- Coordinating, wherever appropriate, the development of early action & remedial plans that are necessary to minimize risk costs to the Bank.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance with internal policies, prevailing laws, regulations, best practices and Sharia guidelines.
- Maintaining a strong audit culture by ensuring all Group Risk, Compliance, HR and Operational guidelines and procedures are adhered to.
- Provide coaching & guidance to team members and other stakeholders across various departments of the Bank.
- Diligently engage & deliver on new initiatives and responsibilities assigned by the line management.
Work Experience
- Masters Degree from a reputable university in business, finance or related discipline.
Education
- At least 10 years of Wholesale Banking experience in Corporate Finance, Structuring, Documentation & Coverage. Preference would be given to candidates with prior experience of Project Finance transactions under the PPP model in the region.
