Job Purpose
To manage the Litigation team and ensure that the maximum number of Criminal/Repo/Civil/SOM filing cases in all emirates in a speedy and efficient manner as well as to follow up with lawyer to ensure that lawyers are filling the without delay to maximize recoveries and minimize Bank’s losses.
Related payment collection for police station/courts & also to ensure proper and timely response/corresponds to authorities (DEWAN, CPC office & any government entities).
Key Responsibilitie
- To manage the litigation team and ensure that target of number of cases filed/submitted per month is achieved
- To ensure that criminal/Repo/civil/SOM cases are filed as per the jurisdiction to maximize recoveries and minimize Bank’s losses
- Ensure that the team is maintaining the unit strategies in the daily activities
- Conducting a monthly cheques reconciliation on the team requested cheques
- Follow Up with lawyers to ensure that lawyers are filling all police case in other emirates without delay
- Maintain good relations with police officers, court, and government bodies for the best interest of the bank
- Follow- up on payments collection from police station / Courts and release the case filed once the amount is received
- Maintain records for all filed/released cases for future reference
- Prepare periodic and upon request report and MIS for area of responsibility
- Manage all correspondence with DEWAN, CPC office and ensure pertaining proposals are made and implemented within a timely manner
- Ensure strict compliance with DIB policies and procedure
