The position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Experience and Education
- 3.5 to 5 years of experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- The role is expected to evolve from traditional QA responsibilities toward development-oriented quality engineering.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java are required.
- Experience with BDD frameworks, Page Object Model, and Selenium with Cucumber is required.
- Hands-on experience in UI and API testing is required.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, and SQL Server is required.
- Experience with Playwright automation and WebdriverIO is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
- A team-player attitude and strong attention to detail are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and develop automated test scripts.
- Execute automated and manual test cases, identify defects, and verify their resolution.
- Follow QA processes, coding standards, and best practices.
- Monitor UI automation execution results and scheduled test jobs.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize automation frameworks and test suites.
- Improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency through automation.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to build quality into the development process.
- Contribute to automation framework design and support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives.
- Take ownership of framework development, test tooling, and automation architecture as the role expands.
