Role Overview
Develop, support, and enhance enterprise warranty applications and after-market business systems.
Work with business stakeholders, QA teams, support teams, and architects to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Java-based enterprise warranty applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Build backend components with Core Java, JSP, Servlets, and Struts.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, defect resolution, UAT, and deployments.
- Prepare technical and support documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and comply with security, audit, and change-management processes.
- Support modernization and migration initiatives as required.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Struts Framework 1.x or 2.x.
- Oracle, MySQL, DBeaver, TOAD, and stored procedures.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, and JSON.
- Eclipse, Git or GitHub, Maven, Azure DevOps, and SonarQube.
- Incident analysis, production support, root cause analysis, defect tracking, and change management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of Java application development and support experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Spring Framework and Struts.
- Experience with OpenShift, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, global delivery teams, and application security best practices.
