Sr. Software Engineer - C++

Role Overview

Location

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ software applications.
• Develop software interfaces with hardware and control device functionality.
• Participate in software verification and validation activities.
• Create and execute unit tests and automated test solutions.
• Collaborate on requirements, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and design reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Investigate defects and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Advanced C++ programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, state machine design, inter-process communication, and component-level development.
• Experience with Agile, Test-Driven Development, unit testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, aerospace, automotive, or life sciences.
• Knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, FDA regulations, design controls, and traceability requirements.
• Experience with COM, inter-process communication, Jira, and Confluence.
• Exposure to C# and state machine design.

Compensation

• The posted base compensation range is $68,911 to $161,544.
• Additional compensation such as incentives, bonuses, or commissions may apply depending on the position and applicable laws.
