Business Analyst supporting a business transformation project within the aerospace industry.
Work with business stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts to understand operational challenges, document requirements, analyze processes, and support business and technology solutions.
The role requires stakeholder engagement, project support, and process improvement focused on business value and user needs.
Location and workplace
- Hybrid in Mirabel, with 1–3 days per week indicated in the description.
- French proficiency is mandatory.
Role responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate needs into functional requirements and user stories.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and meetings to identify challenges, needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze current processes, conduct fit-gap assessments, and recommend optimized future-state solutions.
- Liaise between business, operational, and project teams to support communication, collaboration, and alignment.
- Support planning, risk and issue management, governance, status reporting, testing, and user acceptance.
- Perform impact assessments, maintain requirement traceability, and evaluate dependencies, constraints, and business impacts.
- Improve document control, workflow governance, lifecycle management, and information accessibility.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
- Experience in business transformation, process improvement, or technology implementation projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Aerospace industry experience is nice to have.
Compensation
- Posted base compensation range is $44,951–$105,456 per year for the posted location.
