Responsibilities

• Support petro-technical and subsurface applications used by geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers.
• Manage and monitor application environments for availability and performance.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support through phone, email, and self-service channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking under SLAs.
• Track support tickets and report on them.
• Support upgrades, patching, configuration, and interfaces.
• Manage software licensing and user accounts for onboarding and offboarding.
• Work with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to improve stability and user experience.
• Test and validate enhancements and system changes.

Skills and experience

• Hands-on support experience with subsurface and petro applications in Oil & Gas or Energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with the Schlumberger petro-technical suite, including Blueback, Petrel, C-Core, Drillbench, Eclipse, GeoX, Intersect, and PetroMod.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Other applications may include Petroleum Experts, Amarile RE Studio, Blue Marble, Paleoscan, Peloton Wellview/Siteview, Hampson Russell Suite, and Geolog.

Compensation

• Base compensation range is $76,336–$179,088 per year.
• The role may be eligible for additional variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
