Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor Primavera P6 schedules, baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Collect progress information with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and subcontractor teams; track actual progress and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.
• Monitor milestones, critical paths, interfaces, and resource needs; produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, dashboards, and S-curves.
• Analyze schedule impacts and delays, recommend corrective actions, and support extension-of-time claims and revised programmes.
• Attend progress reviews, follow up on actions, maintain planning records, and assist with manpower, equipment, and material forecasts.
• Ensure schedules meet project, client, consultant, and RTA reporting requirements.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of planning and scheduling experience on roads, highways, infrastructure, or civil/EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel; experience preparing baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, progress updates, and recovery plans.
• Understanding of construction sequences, critical-path analysis, resource planning, and progress measurement.
• Good analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

Preferred experience

• UAE/GCC experience, preferably on RTA roads or infrastructure projects in Dubai, is an advantage.
• Experience with highways, interchanges, bridges, utility diversions, drainage, traffic diversions, and major infrastructure projects in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.
