EHS delivery and compliance
- Develop and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and project safety plans; ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, and method statement reviews.
- Oversee safety during BESS installation, battery-container handling, electrical work, testing, commissioning, and energization.
- Control electrical hazards, arc flash, LOTO, work at height, lifting operations, and confined-space risks.
Emergency, site, and environmental safety
- Prepare response plans for battery thermal runaway, fire, smoke, electrolyte leakage, and other battery hazards.
- Coordinate EHS matters with project teams, subcontractors, and clients; conduct inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and training.
- Investigate incidents and unsafe conditions, implement corrective and preventive actions, and monitor subcontractor safety performance.
- Maintain EHS records and compliance registers; monitor waste, environmental protection, spill prevention, and hazardous-material handling.
- Lead EHS meetings, safety campaigns, and continuous-improvement initiatives; ensure emergency equipment, fire protection, first aid, and evacuation arrangements are available at site.
- Prepare periodic EHS performance reports for project management and clients.
