Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineer

Role summary

Technical support and analysis

• Respond to customer and front-end technical queries and attend customer clarification meetings.
• Review inspection findings, recommend repair methods and upgrades, assess failure causes, and guide complex equipment work.
• Conduct root cause failure analyses and prepare reports with background, findings, and recommendations.
• Measure and analyze equipment performance at customer sites using vibration analyzers, ultrasonic flow meters, and thermodynamic methods.

Engineering and warranty support

• Coordinate with factories and international engineering teams to obtain equipment information and support technical investigations.
• Support repair and retrofit proposals with Sales, Tendering, and Engineering; oversee engineering drawings, bills of material, and specifications for modifications.
• Conduct or supervise reverse engineering using conventional measuring tools and 3D scanning.
• Support warranty investigations and technical issues arising during installation, commissioning, operation, and repair.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 10+ years of rotating equipment industry experience.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps and turbomachinery for Water, Power, and Oil & Gas industries; knowledge of relevant processes, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in rotating equipment design and selection software; design, drafting, CAD (2D/3D), and computer skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Able and willing to travel frequently to customer sites nationally and internationally, on assignments from one day to two weeks.
