- The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of preparing, writing, and submitting proposals in response to client requests and RFPs.
- This individual will play a critical role in communicating our organization's capabilities, value proposition, and solutions to prospective clients.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to produce winning proposals.
- Job brief:
- Lead the proposal development process, including understanding proposal requirements, Developing proposal outlines, and coordinating internal resources for content creation.
- Write compelling and persuasive proposal content that effectively communicates the organization's value proposition, capabilities, and solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders to gather information and insights for proposal development.
- Ensure that proposals are compliant with client requirements, formatting standards, and submission guidelines.
- Manage proposal timelines and deadlines, effectively prioritizing and coordinating multiple concurrent proposal efforts.
- Conduct research on client needs, industry trends, and competition to tailor proposals the resonate with prospective clients,
- Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with brand messaging and positioning.
- Maintain and update a repository of proposal content, case studies, and references for future use.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure visually appealing and professional proposal layouts.
- Participate in debrief sessions following proposal submissions to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
Education Requirement & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in proposal development, business writing, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive and technically sound proposals.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with proposal management tools or CRM systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of proposal best practices, procurement processes, and RFP evaluation criteria. Experience in a B2B or professional services environment is preferred.
