- Job brief:
- Experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations and to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.
- Analyze market trends and conduct market research to determine competitive leasing rates and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate lease agreements with potential tenants, ensuring that lease terms are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain relationships with existing tenants, addressing any issues and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Develop relationships with brokers and potential tenants, actively promoting available space to achieve maximum occupancy.
- Prepare leasing reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Mall, Traditional Souq, Retail Shops and any other retail properties.
- Review tenant applications and perform credit checks to ensure the financial viability of potential tenants.
- Work closely with the Property Management team to ensure that all properties are well- maintained and meet tenant needs.
- Attend leasing meetings, conferences, and industry events to stay up-to-date with industry trends and to promote the company's properties.
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain reputation.
Requirements And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leasing commercial properties, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating lease agreements and achieving maximum occupancy.
- Experience in developing and implementing leasing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and industry trends.
- Experience in managing leasing teams and working collaboratively with other departments.
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position.
- Professional certification in Real Estate, such as Certified Leasing Professional (CLP), is preferred.
- Real Estate Broker or Salesperson license from the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT).
