Health data context
- Health data is subject to HIPAA and changing state privacy regulations, arrives in inconsistent formats, and carries clinical accuracy requirements.
- Products must account for consent and access controls; source formats include HL7, FHIR, and proprietary device APIs.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and a multi-year roadmap for health-data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and clinical surfacing.
- Translate regulatory, interoperability, and consent constraints into product requirements for engineering teams.
- Own metrics for data quality, completeness, and clinical utility.
- Partner with clinical, provider experience, compliance, privacy, platform engineering, applied science, and engineering teams.
- Define success criteria for reconciliation models, insight-generation algorithms, and automated triage systems.
- Influence across teams and organizations to drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition, delivering features, and making product trade-offs.
- Experience contributing to engineering technology discussions and managing technical products or online services.
- Experience advocating for customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred qualifications
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- ML/AI product management experience, including model success criteria, lifecycle management, or A/B testing, is preferred.
- A master's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics is preferred.
