Join Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery operations to help launch and operate a fast-delivery service and third-party store operations in Saudi Arabia.
The role is described as an Operations Lead and Team Lead for UFG last-mile operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily end-to-end last-mile operations for a large site or a combination of small sites, including dispatch.
- Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and cost targets and team safety and morale.
- Manage team-member and delivery service partner performance; coach associates and report on productivity, quality, and safety.
- Prepare and implement training and development plans for delivery associates.
- Work with delivery service partners to improve processes and sustain operational performance.
- Conduct daily 4M, 5S, and Safety GEMBA audits for stores.
- Implement Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, fairly and consistently.
- Stand in for the Area Manager when required.
Basic qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience with Excel.
- Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
