The Graduate Area Manager role provides experience leading a large, diverse team in a hands-on operational environment.
The manager works with colleagues to meet business demand, drive productivity, and address operational challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Use corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity and meet business objectives across shifts.
- Support and lead a team, complete administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
- Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and customer service.
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
- Maintain site safety and process efficiency while managing daily operations, escalations, improvement work, and contingency planning.
- Work with colleagues and external partners to meet customer demands and targets; analyze performance data and discuss technical improvements with engineers.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree completed before the start date.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Relevant experience performing data analysis.
Work setting and schedule
- The role is based at an operational site and involves working shifts.
