Overview
The Procurement Manager will lead and manage the procurement function for large-scale civil construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, subcontract services, and project-related resources.
The role is responsible for vendor development, cost optimization, contract negotiations, procurement planning, and maintaining uninterrupted supply for project execution.
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and business objectives.
Lead end-to-end procurement activities for civil construction projects.
Manage sourcing of construction materials including cement, steel, concrete products, MEP materials, finishing materials, and heavy equipment.
Prepare and review RFQs, tenders, bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with vendors.
Coordinate with planning, engineering, commercial, and project teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
