About This Role

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for large-scale building construction projects. The role involves developing baseline schedules, tracking project performance, identifying delays, and ensuring timely completion in coordination with project teams.

  • Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project
  • Prepare baseline programs, recovery plans, and revised schedules
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance against planned timelines
  • Conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients
  • Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports, dashboards, and MIS reports
  • Identify critical activities and ensure resource optimization
  • Track procurement, engineering, and construction progress
  • Support tender planning, including time schedules and manpower histograms
  • Implement and maintain planning standards and procedures
