The role is part of PepsiCo’s KSA sales team and focuses on sales volume, product freshness, distribution, merchandising, collections, and customer service.
The Pre-seller provides market information to the supervisor and attends training to develop professionalism and customer service.
Principal accountabilities
- Sell the full product range to assigned customers against agreed targets and maintain stale-product levels below target.
- Follow call frequencies and daily route plans, deliver approved customer service, and complete daily supervisor debriefings.
- Conduct vehicle checks, maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle, and report defects or damage promptly.
- Supply customer orders on time with delivery arrangements and maintain stock levels to minimize out-of-stock problems.
- Implement agreed in-store merchandising and coordinate support from company merchandisers.
- Report competitor activity in the area and reconcile cash, cheques, and credit sales daily.
- Maintain a neat and presentable appearance and comply with driving regulations.
- Provide market information and attend training to improve professionalism and customer service.
Experience and competencies
- Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account building.
- Communication, negotiation, conflict management, and sales planning skills.
- Basic accounting skills.
