Role Overview
Amazon is seeking an analytical operations associate to improve seller success through supply-chain, inventory management, and operational excellence work.
The role supports seller partnerships, issue resolution, process improvement, and operational performance in Amazon India's marketplace business.
The position combines hands-on seller support with strategic thinking and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure seller and vendor operational performance meets targets.
- Use metrics to improve customer experience and inform decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reduce cost-to-serve, lead time, and waste across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Define, prioritise, and monitor programmes and projects through execution.
- Create and review business cases, conduct research and analysis, and write specifications.
- Drive product development schedules from strategy through execution.
- Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other data management systems.
- Monitor project quality, delivery dates, and programme integrity.
Team Responsibilities
- Support sellers in navigating Amazon systems and improving their capabilities.
- Focus on inbound management processes and gather seller and customer insights.
- Identify improvement opportunities and potential issues before they surface.
- Guide sellers toward self-sufficiency on the Amazon platform.
- Initiate and lead process improvement projects and participate in stakeholder communications.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of sales experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-centric skills.
- Ability to work with sellers, operations, planning, and operations management teams.
