Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC with extensive UAE experience in MEP contracting.
The candidate should have delivered HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, villas, and residential and commercial projects in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC design, execution, and project management for MEP contracting works.
- Handle HVAC design review, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and duct and pipe sizing.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for project-specification compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards, including Dubai Municipality and DEWA.
- Manage site activities, supervise installation teams, and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Prepare method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of relevant MEP project experience.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
- Immediate availability is required.
- A UAE driving licence is required.
Preferred experience
- Experience in Emaar and Expo projects is preferred.
