Senior EHS Engineer role in Power Transmission and Distribution, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Required experience: 7–15 years.
Qualifications and knowledge
- Minimum qualification is listed as General Diploma or Bachelor of Technology (BTech).
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.
Safety responsibilities
- Conduct detailed JSA for transformer installation, cable pulling, and switchyard gantry erection.
- Manage and audit PTW authorization for energized or restricted areas; enforce LOTO procedures.
- Oversee electrical safety, inspected tools and equipment, and voltage-appropriate PPE.
- Verify temporary grounding and earthing during construction.
- Monitor excavation and trenching for grounding-grid work, including shoring and utility detection.
- Conduct safety inductions, lead daily high-risk activity toolbox talks, and investigate incidents and near misses using RCA.
