The employer is urgently hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in hospital and high-rise building projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, update, modify and approve electrical design plans and work schedules.
- Liaise with clients and other engineers to ensure projects meet specifications.
- Build relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers and other professionals, and expand networks.
- Maintain and improve existing engineering processes.
- Participate in conferences, events and networking and learning opportunities.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, company regulations and other documents.
- Analyze existing processes and arrange meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research, perform diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment.
- Assist with recruitment, training and onboarding.
- Help ensure a safe, positive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a master's degree is preferable.
- At least 8 years of Electrical Engineer experience.
- Valid Society of Engineers License.
- High-rise building experience and a strong background in hospital and high-rise building projects.
- Extensive practical experience and practical experience with CAD software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent motivational skills and ability to multitask.
- Additional license or certification may be required.
