Sr. D&T Analyst – Business Intelligence
Role Overview
This role advances modern Business Intelligence and AI for BI capabilities across General Mills business functions.
It partners with business, product, and technical teams to design, build, and scale trusted, governed, and user-friendly analytics solutions.
The role focuses on enabling reporting, visualization, conversational analytics, and AI-driven insights with strong adoption, quality, and governance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (full time) in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of total experience with 6+ years of relevant experience designing and delivering BI and analytics solutions for business stakeholders.
- Expert-level skills in Tableau, SQL, Google Looker, Python, and BigQuery.
- Demonstrated experience building governed analytics products, semantic models, and scalable reporting solutions that support self-service analytics and decision-making.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requests into technical requirements and explain trade-offs across tools, data models, governance, and architecture options.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, metadata management, data governance, data warehousing, and enterprise data platforms.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and to partner effectively with business leaders, technical teams, and governance stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.
- 8+ years of total experience with 6+ years of relevant experience designing and delivering BI and analytics solutions for business stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Thought-driven leadership to successfully deliver scalable team management and business solutions.
- Knowledge of at least one other programming language such as Python is a plus.
- Take the initiative to do the right thing - doesn't walk past a problem.
