Sr Business Analyst - Remote

Role overview

Workplace

• The role is remote within the United States.
• Employees hired in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area must work in the office at least four days per week.
• Remote employees must follow UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Client Configuration

• Support configuration intake, validation, issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, and annual readiness.
• Maintain supporting documentation, trackers, and operational controls.

Project coordination and execution

• Coordinate meetings, action items, dependencies, status reporting, and follow-up across capability and project initiatives.
• Maintain project plans and trackers; organize deliverables, track commitments, and escalate risks.
• Develop job aids, SOPs, process flows, training materials, and operational documentation.
• Prepare presentations, governance materials, and other reporting as needed.

Testing and operational readiness

• Coordinate and execute business testing for enhancements, defect remediation, and monthly production releases.
• Develop test scenarios, document results, track defects, and support issue resolution.
• Participate in release readiness, production validation, regression testing, and implementation support.

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years in business operations, business analysis, program management, or capability management.
• At least 3 years supporting cross-functional initiatives involving technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
• At least 3 years supporting development of business requirements.
• At least 1 year supporting government or other regulated programs.
• Years of post-high-school education may be substituted as equivalent years of experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Healthcare, pharmacy benefit, Medicare, or managed care experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile, Aha!, Rally, ServiceNow, or Power BI is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Copilot or other AI tools is preferred.

Compensation

• Annual salary range is $72,800 to $130,000.
• Pay depends on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications; benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility.
