Role Overview

Accounting Operations

• Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank transactions, and accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing and oversee provisions, accruals, and adjustments.

Tax, Audit, and Controls

• Complete UAE VAT reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax calculations, documentation, compliance, and reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain audit-ready financial records.
• Review transactions for compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Financial Analysis and Coordination

• Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, balances, and financial commitments.
• Oversee accounting aspects of payroll and WPS processing.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts, budgets, financial analysis, and management reports.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers, customers, and government-related requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and accounting controls.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• CA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or trading companies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
