Seeking an Architect / Draughtsman to produce precise structural and architectural drawings, from custom small frameworks to large steel assemblies.
The role requires steel-structure drafting, BOQ preparation, 3D visualization, and accurate workshop-ready drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed steel-structure drawings for small and large projects and prepare production and fabrication drawings, including assembly details.
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and steel cutting sheets optimized for workshop use.
- Generate quotations and cost estimates; perform surface-area calculations.
- Design custom architectural components and create 3D models and renderings for client presentation and approval.
- Ensure drawings meet engineering standards and fabrication requirements; coordinate with engineers, project managers, and workshop teams.
- Update drawings based on site measurements and client feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D; 3D is mandatory.
- At least 1–2 years of steel-structure drafting and fabrication-detailing experience.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, cutting sheets, and workshop drawings; strong understanding of structural concepts and materials.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be fluent in Hindi and English.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
