Requires steel structure drafting, BOQ preparation, 3D visualization, and accurate workshop-ready drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed steel structure drawings for small and large-scale projects.
- Prepare production and fabrication drawings, including assembly details.
- Develop BOQs and material take-offs.
- Prepare workshop-optimized steel cutting sheets.
- Generate quotations and cost estimates and perform surface area calculations.
- Design custom architectural components to project requirements.
- Create 3D models and renderings for client presentation and approval.
- Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and fabrication feasibility.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and workshop teams.
- Update drawings based on site measurements and client feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D; 3D is mandatory.
- At least 1–2 years of steel structure drafting and fabrication-detailing experience.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, cutting sheets, and workshop drawings.
- Strong understanding of structural concepts and materials.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
