The Site Engineer manages and supervises on-site project activities.
The role works with project managers, contractors, and team members to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors and laborers.
- Monitor progress through regular site inspections and resolve on-site issues or conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, approved plans, and specifications.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Manage site materials and equipment, and implement and enforce health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi and English.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management tools.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus.
- Must be fluent in Hindi and English.
