- Assist coaches during training sessions, games, and sports activities
- Prepare and set up sports equipment before each session and ensure proper storage afterward
- Support coaches in supervising participants and maintaining discipline
- Help organize participants into teams or activity groups
- Monitor attendance and assist with participant registration when required
- Ensure sports equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, and positive sportsmanship among participants
- Assist with warm up and cool down activities under the coach's direction
- Report any injuries, incidents, or safety concerns immediately to the coach or Sports Coordinator
- Provide general administrative support, including maintaining attendance records and equipment inventory
- Assist during sports tournaments, competitions, and special events
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field is an advantage)
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
- Previous experience in sports, coaching, volunteering, or recreational activities is preferred but not essential
- Passion for sports and working with children and young people
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Responsible and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions and support coaches effectively
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of sports rules and safety practices
- Physically fit and able to assist with sports activities and equipment

Job Summary
