7 Dimensions Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered care for children.
Key responsibilities
- Assess children's speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication.
- Diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, and pediatricians.
- Develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy plans.
- Monitor progress, re-evaluate regularly, and adjust therapy techniques and treatment goals.
- Counsel and train parents, caregivers, and teachers on strategies for home and classroom use.
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records under DHA standards and company policy.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and continuing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Communication Disorders.
- Valid DHA licence or DHA eligibility letter.
- At least five years of clinical experience.
- Experience with autism, developmental delay, language disorders, stuttering, dysphagia, or related conditions.
- Fluent English and Arabic are mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, patient approach with children and families.
- Based in Dubai.
Preferred qualifications
- Training in PECS, Makaton, PROMPT, SCERTS, or Hanen is preferred.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary setting is preferred.
Workplace and travel
- Work location is in person.
