Obstetrics & Gynecology

A Gynecologist is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to women, including reproductive health services, pregnancy and childbirth care, and diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions.

• Provide routine and specialized obstetric and gynecological care.
• Conduct consultations, physical examinations, and medical assessments.
• Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care.
• Perform gynecological and obstetric surgeries, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive procedures
• Perform laser-based gynecological and aesthetic procedures safely and effectively
• Conduct and interpret ultrasound examinations for diagnosis and pregnancy monitoring
• Perform aesthetic gynecological surgeries and procedures in line with approved clinical standards, such as labiaplasty (labia minora reduction), labia majora augmentation or fat transfer, clitoral hood reduction, vaginoplasty and perineoplasty, mons pubis reduction or lift, and laser vaginal rejuvenation
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, menstrual disorders, and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform and assist with normal and high-risk deliveries as appropriate.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions and reproductive health concerns.
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries within the scope of practice.
• Conduct and interpret relevant investigations, including ultrasound and laboratory tests.
• Provide contraception and family-planning counseling.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Coordinate care with nurses, midwives, anesthetists, pediatricians, and other specialists.
• Respond appropriately to obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
• Educate patients about preventive healthcare and follow-up care.
• Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards.

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
• Valid medical license/registration as required by the relevant health authority.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
• Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred.
