The role is a Hijama Therapist position in Dubai, UAE.
License and scope
- A valid DHA eligibility/registration or DHA professional license is required, as applicable.
- Treatments must remain within the therapist’s licensed scope of practice.
Clinical care
- Perform Hijama/wet cupping treatments according to approved clinical procedures.
- Assess clients and obtain relevant medical history before treatment.
- Explain the procedure, expected benefits, contraindications, risks, and aftercare instructions.
- Monitor clients during and after treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
- Provide professional patient education regarding post-Hijama care.
Safety and coordination
- Follow infection-control, sterilization, hygiene, and clinical safety protocols.
- Maintain treatment equipment and safely dispose of sharps and biomedical waste.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when referral or medical assessment is required.
Records and compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with UAE/Dubai healthcare regulations.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
