The role is full-time, non-management, and not remote.
Food preparation and cooking
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food; thaw frozen food in refrigerated storage.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment.
- Prepare and cook food to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
- Monitor quality and test doneness by tasting, smelling, or piercing food with utensils.
- Ensure appropriate portions, arrangement, garnish, and serving receptacles.
Kitchen and guest service
- Use kitchen tools safely and appropriately; wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check appliance and food temperatures and notify the manager when a product fails specifications.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and support team goals.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified as necessary; no license or certification is listed as a preferred qualification.
Work practices and physical demands
- Follow safety and security procedures and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
