Full-time, non-management Security Officer position in the Loss Prevention & Security category.
The position is not remote and is based at the Dubai property.
Security and loss prevention
- Patrol the property, assist guests with room access, and lock entrances when required.
- Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life-safety systems; conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies, assist guests and employees, contact emergency medical services, and administer first aid/CPR when needed.
- Defuse disturbances, resolve safety hazards, escort unwelcome persons, respond to accidents and thefts, and request outside assistance when necessary.
- Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and complete incident reports and shift summaries.
- Maintain confidentiality of security and property records and release information only to authorized individuals.
Guest service and workplace conduct
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; follow company policies, protect company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Prepare and review written documents and use computers or point-of-sale systems to access work information.
Preferred qualifications and physical duties
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
- The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and moving quickly in response to work situations.
- Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance, navigating confined or elevated spaces, and moving over uneven surfaces, stairs, and ramps.
