Utility cleaners support vital hotel functions and may work across kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry departments.
Hotel cleaning and utility duties
- Prepare fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers, dryers, and other cleaning tools.
- Transport dishware and linens across the hotel.
- Follow company procedures and quality standards, maintain professional appearance and communication, and support safe work.
- Build positive working relationships, support shared team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Physical requirements and experience
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
