F&B Support Expert (Busboy)

Role overview

Guest service

• Address guest service needs professionally, positively, and promptly.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs and preferences, and thank them with genuine appreciation.

Food and beverage support

• Maintain clean work and guest areas by clearing, collecting, and returning food and beverage items.
• Set tables to event and service standards; inspect china, glassware, and silverware for cleanliness and presentation.
• Pick up trays, clean tables, and prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Requisition and transport supplies, including liquor restocking.

Inventory and closing

• Complete scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor and request necessary supplies.
• Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking, securing storage, and completing the daily cleaning checklist.

Qualifications

• No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
• Previous food and beverage experience is preferred.
• Higher education, a diploma, or equivalent is preferred.
