Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical consultations for patients across all age groups.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses according to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Perform physical examinations and assess patients' medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications appropriately.
• Promote preventive healthcare through routine screenings, vaccinations, and health education.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
• Perform minor office-based medical procedures within the scope of practice.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH), healthcare regulations, and infection control standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education (CME), and clinical audits.
• Provide patient counseling on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency or postgraduate training in Family Medicine.
• Valid **DOH License** or **DOH Eligibility** as a **Specialist Family Medicine**.
• Minimum **2–3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** in family medicine or primary healthcare (preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advantage.
• Excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
