Job Title: Endodontist

Job Summary

The Endodontist is a dental specialist responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and periapical tissues. The role primarily involves performing root canal treatments, endodontic surgeries, and managing dental trauma while ensuring high standards of patient care and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diseases of the dental pulp and root tissues
• Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, and endodontic surgeries (e.g., apicoectomy)
• Manage dental trauma cases involving fractured or avulsed teeth
• Interpret dental radiographs and CBCT images accurately
• Provide emergency dental pain management
• Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists for referrals
• Educate patients on treatment procedures, oral hygiene, and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Comply with DOH/HAAD regulations and clinic policies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
• Recognized specialization in Endodontics
• Valid DOH / DHA / MOH license or eligibility
• Minimum of 2–3 years clinical experience as an Endodontist (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of modern endodontic techniques and materials
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• High level of professionalism and ethical practice

Working Conditions

• Clinical environment with exposure to dental instruments and equipment
• Requires standing for extended periods
• Compliance with PPE and safety standards
