Role overview

Estimating and repair administration

• Evaluate vehicle repair needs and estimate repair and labor costs in a clear format.
• Prepare damage reports and obtain relevant signatures and authorizations.
• Review vehicles and final bills as part of the quality check process, and note differences between estimated and actual costs.
• Review the extent of vehicle damage, prepare insurance estimates, and resolve replacement and repair requirements.
• Prepare repair work orders after approval and enter them into the work management system.
• Prepare internal and external sales invoices, quotations, and estimates of overall customer payment.

Parts and commercial operations

• Reply to parts enquiries and source external sales clients.
• Invoice parts to jobs and maintain inventory with correct locations.
• Stock regular-moving parts and list costs for approval.
• Monitor targets and achievements for planning.
• Track drivers handling parts deliveries and payments.
• Find part numbers in electronic catalogs; receive and check parts shipments.
• Coordinate parts orders and deliveries with suppliers.
• Notify the parts manager about out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in car spare parts.
• Be knowledgeable in computer applications.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with spare parts for luxury or high-end vehicles is asked about in the application, but is not stated as mandatory.
