Role overview
Lead technical design of a new enterprise ERP application built from scratch for a SaaS company.
Design a scalable, multi-tenant system integrated with the employer's existing SaaS products and shared platform services.
The role is remote in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for the new ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns with the existing SaaS portfolio and leverage shared identity, access-management, and data-routing services.
- Define AWS architecture for availability, performance, and strict tenant data isolation.
- Establish technical standards, code generation patterns, and architectural guardrails with engineering leadership and an AI-enabled team.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture; strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive AWS cloud-native architecture experience and experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise multi-tenant SaaS systems is a strict must-have.
- Must have defined the architecture of a complex SaaS platform from a blank slate.
Candidate profile
- Must be adaptable and hands-on, making pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed to market and long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and understanding of codebases that are navigable and extensible by AI-driven teams.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural trade-offs as clear business impacts for stakeholders.
Engagement
Contract for six or more months, with a possible extension.
